Auf der vergangenen E3 dieses Jahres kündigte Square Enix endlich das an, worauf viele Final Fantasy Fans gewartet haben, ein Remaster von Final Fantasy VII. Während seitdem die Informationen spärlich fließen, scheint es zum Jahresende doch noch interessant zu werden. So wurden zum einen die Trophies veröffentlicht, und zum anderen soll auf der PlayStation Experience ein Veröffentlichungstermin bekannt gegeben werden.
